Free Workshop: Mapping Open Data in R

On May 17 I will be running a free workshop titled Mapping Open Data in R. The workshop will be in Berkeley, CA and is open to the public. If you have an interest in the subject matter then I hope that you will attend!

Here is a sample of the maps that people will learn to create:

The workshop will cover some of the material from my free course Learn to Map Census Data in R. But it will also cover work that I have done with data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and World Bank.

As you can see, there is a wealth of information about our country, and world, available for free. And free analytical tools such as R can help us to analyze it. The only prerequisite is a basic knowledge of R.
